A bit ago I had this intense craving for maple flavor. It was cold outside and I wanted something that tasted rich and smooth and creamy. And I wasn't about to down a bottle of maple syrup. Not the biggest fan of that stuff.
Rewind back to three years ago when I purchased a brand new ice cream maker for my sister. Oh you mean the one that she never took out of the box? Yah, that one. I figured that I at least deserved to get my money's worth out of it.
I know I said it was freezing outside, but haven't you ever had your heart set on ice cream despite the weather telling you otherwise?

- 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
Is it bad that I desperately wanted to sprinkle bacon on top of it?
