what to do with a snook

I wanted to introduce you all to the coolest aspect of my new room in Seattle. It's called the snookIt's essentially a large window sill/nook that is much deeper than any other nook I've ever seen. It's about 64" long and 41" deep...and starts almost three feet high off the ground. Ergo, I require a step ladder to climb up into it.

My sister has been referring to it as my "midget living room," but I'm sticking with snook (small + nook). And yes I'm upset that it might get confused with Snooki. But that's still more PC than my sister's suggestion.
Now here's where all you come in. I need your suggestions on how to furnish my snook. So far I've been offered the following for consideration:
  • pillows/blankets for a cuddly nap nook?
  • rug/desk/small chair for my own 3-feet-high office?
  • mini bar (the window opens to our backyard deck)?
Help a girl out. I have four cardboard Subway shredded lettuce boxes full of my belongings that need to somehow be thrown about the snook. What should I do?!

I like the idea of rug/desk/small chair. Hopefully when you get settled in, we will get a tour of your new home.

I like the idea of the bar, but really, how often would it get used? Then you'd be taking up valuable space here. I vote for a reading/nap space. Put some padding and fabric down (or fold up a comforter) then place pillows, little blocks/boxes and put candles or other decor there. Hang photos on the walls (or art). - just call me martha.

I vote for the nap snook

i think the obvious choice would be for the snook to be a guest room. coincidentally, i'm pretty sure the real snooki would fit in there...

i personally would make it a cozy little nap/reading area cause it's just so small and wonderful. put down a rug and huge pillows and white christmas lights for some soft lighting and it'd be perfect. a bar would be awesome as well, but as fit with flash said, not used quite as much.

For the record...I was joking about the mini bar option. Except potentially on certain occasions :)

Get a large patio lounge chair cushion or flokati rug. use the large purple pillows and add a few more in a different color. A cool old level suitcase for a table, use that basket to put books in, and I have that little vintage lamp that would be cute too. Oh, if you could hang your lanterns from the ceiling? I liked the idea of the Christmas lights, but I would put them in a large glass jar or old lantern. Whatever you end up doing, we're all waiting for photos!
