The first half of 2010 was spent living with best friends, working a solid 8-5 job, and embracing the home life...
...which luckily involved a TON of cooking, baking and food photography...
I also became a professional engagement photographer...
Just kidding about the professional part. But I did shoot some hot pics of my best friend and her (now) hubby.
Did some sister photo shoots...Becks, me, and Ems...
Was a bridesmaid for the FIRST time...
with the BEST LADY... with the BRIDE...
...and the SECOND time...
...and the THIRD time...
Went on lake trips with lifelong best friends...and had a boat sink on us...
Joined a book club that doubles as a wine club with these lovelies...
Went to ITALY with Erica for a MONTH!
Took trips to The Ranch and shot guns!
While pictures are often worth a thousand words, there were some huge life events in twenty-ten that can't be put into photos. This year might actually have had the most high's and low's for me compressed into one single year.
I thought a lot about quitting my job.
I quit my job in July.
I said goodbye to my best friend whom I'd lived with for 3+ years when she moved to CO.
I watched a friend enter drug rehab.
I exited a crazy-unhealthy relationship for good.
I started running. Like actually running-running.
I signed up for a half marathon.
I started eating more organic and whole foods.
I helped my youngest sister move into her first college dorm.
I moved from a house to an apartment.
I moved from that apartment to my parents' house.
I signed a lease on a new house in Seattle, starting...today* :)
*more on that tomorrow. :)
